Terms of Service

By accessing or using LockedGPT (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Who we are

LockedGPT is operated by Apollos Development (“we,” “us,” “our”). The marketing site is at lockedgpt.com and the application is at app.lockedgpt.com.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws.

3) Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

4) Creator responsibilities

If you use LockedGPT to provide AI experiences to your customers (“End Users”), you are responsible for:

  • What your End Users are permitted to do with your AI experience.
  • Your own terms, disclaimers, and customer support commitments.
  • Ensuring you have rights to any content you provide (prompts, files, branding, etc.).

5) Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Service to violate laws, infringe rights, or enable harmful activity. See the Acceptable Use Policy for more details.

6) Service availability

We aim for reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upgrades, and unexpected outages may occur.

7) Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, non-payment, or suspected abuse. You may cancel at any time as described in the Billing policy.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apollos Development is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

9) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

This section explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1) Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and authentication details.
  • Billing data: subscription status and purchase history (payments are processed by Stripe).
  • Usage data: response counts, timestamps, feature usage, and basic analytics.
  • Support data: messages you send to support and related metadata.

2) AI content and prompts

The Service may process text you submit in order to generate outputs. Depending on the configuration of your account and features used, we may store limited logs needed for: security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and usage tracking.

Tip: Do not submit sensitive personal information or confidential data unless you have a clear business need and you understand the risks of processing such data through AI services.

3) Why we use your information

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To authenticate users and enforce access controls
  • To process billing and manage subscriptions
  • To provide support and improve reliability
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

4) Sharing and third parties

We share information with trusted third parties only as needed to operate the Service, such as: payment processing (Stripe), infrastructure providers, email delivery providers, and analytics tools. We do not sell your personal information.

We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary based on the type of data.

6) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7) Your choices

  • You may update your account information in the app.
  • You may cancel your subscription as described in the Billing policy.
  • You may contact support for access, correction, or deletion requests where applicable.

Cookie Policy

Cookies help us operate the Service, keep you logged in, and understand basic usage.

1) What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They help websites remember things like login state, preferences, and usage patterns.

2) Cookies we use

  • Essential cookies: required for login and core site functionality.
  • Security cookies: help prevent fraud and protect accounts.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand what pages/features are used (optional where required by law).

3) Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from working correctly.

Acceptable Use Policy

We want LockedGPT to be safe and reliable. This policy describes what is not allowed.

1) You may not use the Service to:

  • Distribute malware, phishing, or other harmful content
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or exploit others
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or usage limits

  • Generate or distribute content involving sexual content with minors, or any illegal sexual content
  • Promote violence, terrorism, or instructions for wrongdoing

2) Enforcement

We may monitor for abuse signals (like unusual traffic patterns) and may suspend or terminate accounts involved in prohibited use. We may remove access immediately when necessary to protect users, the public, or the Service.

Billing & Responses Policy

This section explains subscriptions, add-ons, and how “responses” work.

1) Plans and billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically unless canceled.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
  • You can cancel at any time. Access remains active until the end of your billing period.

2) What is a “response”?

A “response” is one reply generated by the Service after you submit a message. For simplicity, each message you send typically counts as one response.

3) Monthly limits and reset

  • Plan response limits reset each billing cycle.
  • When you approach your limit, we may notify you (for example, around 250 responses on a 300-response plan).
  • If you run out of responses, the Service will pause responses until you buy more or the next reset occurs.

4) Add-on responses

Add-on response packs (if offered) are one-time purchases. Availability and pricing may change. Add-ons may be used after monthly included responses are consumed.

5) Refunds

Unless required by law, subscription fees and add-on purchases are non-refundable once service has been used. If you believe there was an error, contact support and we will review.
